| Requirements for legalization of documents to Thailand |
The Royal Thai Consulate General in New York is authorized to legalize documents within the jurisdiction of the following states:
- Connecticut
- Maine
- Massachusetts
- New Hampshire
- New Jersey
- New York
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
- Rhode Island
- Vermont

| Requirements for legalization |
- The documents must be notarized, sealed by a Notary Public and authenticated,
signed by the respective Secretary of State of which the documents
belong.
- Attached a copy of the document for the Consulate's file.
- An authorization letter requesting to legalize such documents must
be attached. The letter should also state the purpose of the documents
and where such documents will be used in Thailand.
- Legalization fee is $15 for each document, payable in cash (please
bring the exact amount, we do not give change) or money order to the
Royal Thai Consulate General, New York.
- If you send your documents by mail, please enclose a self-addressed
stamped envelope for the returning of the documents.
Please be noticed that the Royal Thai Consulate General is
not responsible for any loss or damage to your documents due to mishandling
by mail services.
