Who need to apply for a visa to go to Thailand?
- Passport holders of countries that do not appear on the list below will require a visa before entering Thailand.
- Travelers entering Thailand for purposes other than tourism need a visa of specific type, i.e. non-immigrant visa.
Tourist Visa Exemption: (Last updated on May 7, 2010)
Passport holders of the following countries are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period of not exceeding 30 days on each visit. Foreigners who enter the Kingdom under the Tourist Visa Exemption category may re-enter and stay in Thailand for a cumulative duration of stay of not exceeding 90 days within any 6-month period from the date of first entry:- (Passport needs to be valid for no less than 6 months)

Tourist Visa Upon Arrival
Passport holders of the following countries may apply for Tourist Visa upon their arrival at the immigration checkpoints in Thailand for the period of not exceeding 15 days:-
